Spring 2012 Elie Tahari. Usually I am a pants type of guy, but with summer in LA quickly on the rise, I know comfort also becomes a big motivator. So I have been known to deviate from time to time, and for good reason! This is a very simple, chic, summer look, with light material you’re sure to be thankful for. That way, when you’re standing in the fiery heat of the sun, you won’t be left thinking “milk was a bad choice”.

A seersucker suit is a “must have” for summer weather. The fabric is woven in such a way as to promote air circulation and heat dissipation, which in turn will leave you much happier when the heat kicks in. Plus in keeping with our theme of class, it always gives off a very southern gentleman vibe.

H&M Men’s spring-summer 2012. Very sleek, great spring-winter look. Something with a thinner material is always great during summer. Breathing is a definite plus.

I’m always a fan of longer coats. A classic peacoat is always a great choice in fall-winter wear. This is a very stylish casual look.

This is from the Fall 2012 Billy Reid collection, and it is gorgeous. That dark color scheme just fits SO well. This outfit screams turn of the century gentleman. Man they had it together back then; class all the way.

From the Michael Bastian Spring 2012 show in New York. A very nice casual look with a great balance of browns and blues. Plus, I’ve always been partial to the vest. It brings an outfit up a notch to something a bit more dressy.

So as I’m going through the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 looks, I come across this interesting combo. Now being a connoisseur of truly classy looking suits, I have thought about this before, but have never seen it brought together so well. And by “this” I mean the bold look of the suit-sandal mix. This to me is the perfect “Summer beach gentleman”.
